Does anyone have links or part numbers for tail light sockets for a 72 Gran Torino?

I have already ordered various wrong part numbers just because a website says it fits my vehicle.

Most websites selling these sockets don’t list dimensions and then they end up not fitting.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes! If you give me a day or two, I'll be posting the rebuilding of my tail light buckets! If you need to know immediately, I can get you the part numbers.

Great write up for sure! Your final product looks great and you provided some really good information, including where to find a new gasket for the lenses!!

Thanks for all of your help, one last question what did you use to polish the plastic.

Use can use plastic polish, or a really fine metal polish like made for billet aluminum. You can also use Meguires Scratch-X. And believe it or not, you can even polish plastic with toothpaste Wink.
