I've been lurking here for a while, and finally made the jump to member. I currently own two '79 Thunderbirds. One's a Town Landau, with a 351w/fmx combo, mostly stock. The other is a recent purchase Heritage with a 400hp 351m and a AOD. I only recently found out how much effort went into putting the AOD in, with a aftermarket bellhousing and the machine work involved. I have reading the posts and project updates here for a while, and hope to post some pics of My own soon. Thanks for reading! 7T9_Tbird

| @BigBird; They're Cragar Soft 8's, argent, 15x8 all four corners with Ranger center caps. I've got 275/60-15's on the back and 245/60-15's front. I'll post better pictures later. And thank you to everybody else! |

After driving around for a couple weeks, I can say I've gone from 7.7 MPG to a whopping 9.0 MPG!   I guess the next step is to change the converter(10" racing piece.
