Would like to get some feedback from anyone who has dyed interior parts on their cars.  I have the medium blue interior on my 73 GTS and have found some green GTS door panels that I need to dye.  There may be a couple of other interior pieces that will be redone.  What products have you used and if anyone has used a blue dye product what company/color was used and were you happy with the final outcome?  thanks in advance

Thats what I bought for my 73 base model with the medium blueinterior. I got it to re-do my package tray, haven't used it yet but did spray a test piece of cardboard and its a darn close match. my car only has 38k miles on it and has always been stored indoors, so not much fading at all on the original stuff. About the best match i have seen yet.

I did exactly this to my wagon Dave. Here is my complete restoration process:

Page 6 specifically if ya care to read about my wagon's restoration. Wink

But basically what I did was clean the door panel really well with POR-15 Marine Clean/Degreaser. After it was dry I taped off the accents and sprayed the panel with Klean-Strip Bull Dog Paint adhesion promoter and then sprayed the panel with Dearborn Classic Medium Blue Vinyl dye following the instructions for each product. It has held up very well for almost 10 yrs now.

(It appears the photos won't transfer over, but if you go the above website you should be able to see them.)

Good Luck!
