Lift the wiper arm so it "breaks" at the pivot that attaches to the wiper's spindle, look at the bottom of the arm next to the pivot, there is a slip-shoe clip that needs to move outward-away from the center of the arm. Once the clip has moved outward, allow the wiper arm to relax against the clip, you should now be able to pull upward and remove the wiper arm assembly from the wiper arm spindle.
