Anyone JB welded new fabricated tabs on their grille? If it works, I only need the surround.

I am not sure how well JB weld would work for that. A body adhesive/epoxy or plastic welding might be a better option. Someone else on here might have tried it or have a better idea what would work properly. It might be worth a shot since grilles aren't cheap.

For your reference, here is a thread on restoring my GTS grille to OEM. All Gran Torino Sports had two tone grilles, while Gran Torinos had all silver (argent) grilles. Lots of people get the grilles wrong.

JB weld will work. I rough up each piece, drill tiny holes in each piece, apply JB weld, run tiny zip ties through the holes till tight and aligned(clamp if needed), add more JB weld to the zip ties and their holes. After it dries the joint is bloody strong. Then paint over the repair.
