Does a torino and montego share the same hood if so does anyone have a 72’ montego or torino fiberglass hood they’re willing to sell, im looking into a shaker hood and need some help! Thanks in advance!

you'd have to cut a hole for the shaker but easily do-able the shakers were on the 70-71's

Montego and Torino do not use the same hood.

Well i need a donor hood for my car and didnt know if anyone on here had any old stock hood without the scoops.

I live in las vegas and we dont have any good scrap yards, if one of you guys could find the time to hunt down a stock 72’ montego hood i would pay for everything i just need a hood.

I've got this original hood....but it's not fiberglass and will not fit on a Torino........from a '73 MX

note the torino pickup had a wider center section than montego (center hump by grille panel) phred

72-76 Montego have the same hood.  The only difference is the latch area on the 72.  Also, 74-76 Cougar have the same hood as the 73-76 Montego.

Also, check out the site below.  You can search junkyards nationwide, for used parts.  I found a decent list of hoods, that you're looking for, but nothing too close to Nevada.  And I doubt any of them will ship a hood.  Heck, most of them wouldn't even ship a bumper, much less a hood, when I inquired recently.

I know one good OEM 72' GT hood here in Finland, Europe. Expensive I think. And shipping cost could be also quite high. Send PM if interested.
