Hello everyone!
I have a 1978 Mercury Cougar that I picked up this past August for $800. All she needed was brake lines and then she was good to hit the road. She's a Brougham sedan with the 351W and the FMX. Just figured I oughta introduce myself here!
Will post pictures when I get the chance!

Welcome. Sedan Cougars are pretty hard to find. Most were 2 door XR-7s. Looking forward to seeing some pics.

I had a '78 cougar xr7 a number of years back.. dark blue w/tan vinyl top. No rust, but constant electrical issues. Sold it. Wish I had another car so I could have redone it. Oh well.

Had a '77 XR7 in high school with buckets, console and floor shift. LOVED the engine-turned dash trim.
