Through four years of my childhood, I helped my dad restore his car, Stacy Lynn. For those of y'all who don't know, Legend, or Malcolm, is my dad. And now that his is done, he helped me find a torino for my own, and he found me a 72 formal roof, and I named her Mckenzie. Over time, I began to realize what my emotional connection to the torino really was. My dad's emotional connection to Stacy Lynn is that his family had one when he was a kid, and I told him that my emotional connection to the car is me helping him with his when he was restoring it, so I have an emotional connection to the 73 formal roof. He helped me find one surprisingly quickly, and the only difference between his and mine, is mine is a Q code. It has the 351 cleveland cobra jet engine. We have moved her into the shop, and I have begun tearing her apart. She is currently unnamed, but a name will come along sooner or later. I'm super thankful to have such a cool dad, and now a group of guys that are mostly all about this amazing car.

Nice Sean, remember, take plenty of pics like you dad did.
I'm a bit confused about McKenzie, do you still have it?

Welcome Sean!  Very cool to see two generations on the board.  What happened to the '72 Formal you bought?

We'd love to see the car.  Posting pictures isn't too hard with this forum, once you figure out how to do it.  There is a how to thread here:

http://forum.grantorinosport.org/how-to-post-a-picture-updated_topic16433&FID=12&PR=3.html" rel="nofollow - http://forum.grantorinosport.org/how-to-post-a-picture-updated_topic16433&FID=12&PR=3.html

The second topic covers how to post from a phone and walks your through step by step with screen shots.
