they should fit out through 1 of the large holes in the middle of the inside of the door by the armrest area. or are you asking how to remove the mechanism from the door metal? if it's never been removed before it will be pop riveted on! take an 1/8" punch to knock the center piece out then you can drill off the rivet head with a 1/4" drill bit  there will be 4 rivets holding it on. to reinstall it just use 4) 1/4"NC x 1/2" long bolts and poly lock nuts  ------------- JOHN 74 GRAN TORINO S&H CLONE 74 VETTE CUSTOM 90 S10 BLAZER 4X4 LIFTED 77 CELICA CUSTOM 75 V8 MONZA SUPERCHARGED 79 COURIER VERT.
