what is the difference, I changed the steering box with a mustang unit many moons ago and do not remember changing pitman arm. I want to rebuilt the steering components and they offer 2 different pitman arms. 1973 montego mx

I can only find listings for the power steering box,  Moog 8217. If you have a Ford or Saginaw box this will work with either.

The manual arm is probably a different length to make the steering easier (and slower). Manual steering on these cars was painfully slow.
