I recently picked up a 72 Ranchero 500. It currently has the bench seat with the raised seat backs. The seat back are actually in pretty good condition but the bench is pretty much toast. Seat covers are easy enough to find but what about the foam for the seat bottom? I can't seem to find to find any one who repops the seat foam or other internal components. Cutting my own foam isn't out of the question but it is a hassle. Seats from some other car are also an option . I may go with that in the short term just so I can drive the car but I would prefer something that looks like it belongs in the car.

Has anyone used seat foams or other components intended for other classic cars or pickups to rebuild the bottom half of the bench seat?
