I am pulling the 429 out of my 70 Torino Sportsroof and wondering where to find the partial VIN stampings.
I know there is one on the passenger side below the head or so I have heard, are there other locations?
I heard that there may be a stamping under the oil pan.
Does anyone have any info or thoughts to share?
Thanks in advance.

Joe

I have a '70 & '71 429CJ. Both have partial VINs stamped on the rear of the block, driver side, just below the head bolt face on the exterior.
