I nedd a few parts to restore one and finish the other couar wagon I have. I particularly need door weatherstrips top and tail gate weather strip. Does anyone have a clue where to find weather striping for these land yachts of the road ? Thanks for the help. From Sonny in sunny Florida

The door seals aren't too tough to come by, but the top and tailgate weatherstrip are nearly impossible to find.  If you have the ones that were originally on your car, Steele Rubber company may be interested in copying them.  If they do, I'd be on the list to get one a supply as well.

Let me know if you are going to do this, because I've been looking for the same thing for a while and not finding anything.

The guy on ebay who sells the complete weatherstripping kit for the 72-76 Torino.. I emailed him about making stuff for a 77-79 car.. He said he would, if I sent him mine, and he got rights to them, and he'd send me a free set/use me as R&D.

I assume they are imported, but in this case, something is better than nothing!! Ask him.

I can't believe you have two 77 Cougar wagons. I have been looking for a Cougar (or Montego) Villager for years.  Tell me, do they have woodgrain?  If I saw one I would be in heaven. :)  I guess I should just be content with my 75 Elite.
