may have to make your own.  the torino never came with a 390, sooooooo...  may have to fab some up.

Consider unloading that 390 for a good chunk of cash and build something a little more Torino friendly like a 400.

i recall 2 instances of FE's in 72+ Torinos, i tried asking Q's about the mounts but never got any kind of a reply from either. 1 was on this board for sure maybe in the Netherlands?

all i can think of is, depending upon where the mount bosses are on the FE block in relation to the chassis crossmember... to somehow morph Torino 351M/400 or a 429/460 mounts to the backing plate of the FE mounts w/o the rubber & probably a stud ?

I have a built 390 sitting here and took a look at  the mounts, Same location but completely a different style. A little research and all I found was either remove the old mounts and kits are out with the fe block brackets then mounting tabs need to be welded to the cars frame.
Other possible option that might work I found are Mustang fe block kits like this one:

Looks no matter how you go though those mounts are going to run 180-230 bucks before shipping and labor.

Interesting mount here, Looks like it works with either setup. Frame side only.

OK, I MIGHT be interested in this info for Motor Mounts.
Just came across a buddy here that is trying to unload a TOTALLY BUILT 390.
40 over, flat tops, cam, balanced etc... top to bottom with carb and headers
Came out of a 64 Galaxie, has not even been started since the rebuild.
Estimated over 500hp 401/406 cu in
Along with a built TCI C-6!

I can get it for a good deal.
Anyone interested in this set up??
I can broker the deal and deliver for the right price or I can pick it up and stuff it in the Torino backed by the 9"?

Thoughts?

If I were you I'd definitely at least TRY to install it. The trans cross-member shouldn't be a problem so install that, hang the whole assembly in place and measure up for custom mounts. I'm sure you can weld up something. They don't have to be pretty as long as they're strong.

I did some reading where Fe mounts can be drilled out for a 429-460 to have 3 bolts a side, 2 holes already line up they drill the 3rd, Maybe 429-460 mounts could also be drilled for a Fe? Google Ford 390 Motor mounts and check look at images, You can see how they are different. I was going to post pictures but they are already all over the internet. I think the main concern here is the engine height to clear the hood unless plans are to chop it for extra clearance anyway.
Anyway the 1970 Torino 428cj mounts look like a possibility, Same fe block series engine.

BTW my neighbor is is a professional engine builder and mentioned the connecting rods in these alone are worth 100 bucks each used if they get really wide. He is itching to pull the pan off my engine and have a look. Sounds like only some 390's and everything above has these rods. 360 and below do not.

Another option for mounts...
Spoke with a friend who used to do a lot to 60s/70s ford trucks.
Mid 70s f150 came with FE engines (390/360) and to put a 385 in there are 3 common ways.
The first (strongest, right?) way is to change out all the mount pats to 385 2wd 460 parts.
The second has you cutting up a fullsize mount (ears off rivet out and replaced but a bolt that goes into the FE frame bracket)
The third (relevant to Torinos) is to leave the FE frame brackets and bolt the insulators to a Torino/Thunderbird/Mark engine bracket.
Reverse that process, and you SHOULD be able to bolt the truck FE engine bracket to the T-bird/Torino insulator.

Yet another variant to this I just heard about.
Take a set of Crites mounts apart.
Discard the insulators.
Install  FE truck mounts (single screw, mid 70s version) on the Crites bracket in place of the 385 insulator.
Install engine.
Haven't seen it in operation myself, but it's supposed to work.
Looking at pictures of the Crites mounts, the FE insulators, it should work.

If anyone is still playing with this idea, these are the FE engine brackets that use D1ZZ-6038-A insulators to mount in a mustang or torino. The 429 in 70, 71 used the same insulator with an engine bracket that was an earlier version of the engine bracket for 73-up torino. (can't find the part#, but should also be the one used in 72)
So... these, along with 429/460 insulators should put a FE into a 72-up torino chassis, barring oil pan issues...
