Can you guys help a couple of non electrical wizads from Florida.  Me and my Buddy converted our Cougar wagons over to the sport cluster for some wow factor. The question is how do you wire up the ammeter to make it work properly. I wired mine from the B+ alternator post to the positive side of the starter solenoid and it works way too good. It shows about 15 amp draw when running, 30 amps with brakes on , fluxuates when the blinkers are on and pegs to 65 when the lights are on. The manual says there should be a shunt installed and if i knew what one was,or looked like I could get it off my parts car. It might be easier to conver the ammeter to a volt meter but thats a 100 bucks i don't need to spend right now. Give us old guys a helping hand and enlighten us. Thanks from Sonny and Barry
