I'm sitting here in my hotel room, in Miamisburg, OH.  I couldn't wait to post about my find, so, here it goes.

Some of you may know that I've been on the hunt for a T-Top T-Bird, with plans to throw a '72 Montego front clip on it.  I found the perfect candidate on Craigslist a couple of weeks ago, over 500 miles from home.  I'd like to thank Adam for checking it out for me.  The seller turned out to be straight up and honest, but ya never know.  Adam helped me seal the deal.  I'd also like to thank Scott (montego01) down in Tampa.  He had checked one out for me, as well.

From the looks of it, I'm the 4th owner.  The 2nd owner had the engine rebuilt, and did a complete chassis and suspension restoration.  Car has ZERO rust and original paint.  Interior's in great shape.  Needs to be cleaned, and needs headliner.

Enjoy.....

You might be able to widen the rear of the wheel, if you keep the heat low. That will not change the outside look or outer lip appearance but will adversely affect your offset. Anything else, and that Polycast urethane will start melting. I had a Laguana years ago with the GM finned poly wheels. We tried fooling with them and ended up with a totally unusable wheel. Smoky, rancid mess, it was.

I have a set of the T Bird centers for those wheels if you decide to keep them.

Yeah, figured I'd have to add the extra width to the back.  May have to add spacers to make that work.

I've got a set of centers.  I need to take a good look at them to see what condition they're in.  I might be interested in yours.  Will let you know.

I know, right?  Even 1/3 of the front clip has already been removed, along with the side moulding, which I was planning on ditching.
