LOL  Thanks Carl.  Actually, I do like the Hurricanes, but I've got my sights set on the Daisy's.  I've also been considering these.  They're available in 15x9, which is perfect for the rear.  Usually your choices are 15x8 or 15x10, or 15x8.5 if you're considering vintage wheels.

15x9 on those with a 4.5 BS will be GREAT. Fit 275/60 or 295/50 without issues either way! AWESOME looking rims!

Those are very similar to the set I bought from a member here. The ones I got are 17 X 9 and these styles look incredible on our cars.

Wheel update.  Since I don't have time to work on the car, about all I do have time for is figuring out my wheel situation.  Wheels can make or break a car!  I had found me a set of 17" polished Daisy's.  Even though my preference was staggered, I wasn't picky.  These things are pricey, so I was happy to find some used ones.  I want the centers to be gray, so I was gonna have them powder coated.  Here's how they look.

A few days ago, I was browsing Ebay, and low and behold, I found me a set of 17" staggered Daisy's with the centers already powder coated gray.  They were a great price, so I jumped on them.

Oh, and by the way, my plan is for Mon-Tbird to be solid white.  I figured the gray wheels will look good on the white body.

Took the day off work yesterday for a Dr's appt, and to pick up our new laminate floors.  Gonna have a busy fall and winter.  Found out I've gotta have shoulder surgery, so that will put a damper on installing my new laminate floors.  Unhappy

Anyhow, stopped by Dad's house to install the new Daisy's.  275-40-17 on the front, 315-35-17 on the rear.  Lower profile than usual, for our cars, but I wanted the widest possible tire for the rear.  I'll be lowering the car using lowering springs.  Here's how it looks for now.

Thanks Dave. I've got a pair, but after seeing those pics, I may not have all that I need.  I'll have to get some pics of what I've got for comparison, next time I'm at my Dad's, which is where the car and parts are being stored.

So you're putting a montego front clip on it? what year montego?
Also are you changing or modifying the opera windows or tailiights at all?
How a montego front clip swap been done before? I cant say Ive ever seen one but with the t tops that would be really cool.

Yes, I'll be putting a '72 Montego front clip on it.  No planned changes to the back half of the T-bird, other than removing the vinyl top, and some type of rear bumper tuck.  I do plan to make the taillights sequential.  I'm not aware of a Montego front clip on a T-bird.  Closest I've seen is a member who put a '73 Montego front clip on a Ranchero.

Slowly chipping away.  Pulled the front clip off, as I've been selling some front end parts.  Here's how it looks right now.
