Has anyone inserted a spacer on the seat mounting bolts to gain some height? Sitting in the 72 Montego, almost seems like I'm laying back too far and low. Thought about using something like AMK products B-11584 to get a little taller...any better ideas withought having to fabricate something elaborate?

Thanks!

would be easy to do...  longer bolts with an aluminum spacer between the tracks and the floor and or spacers and longer bolts between the tracks and the seat frame even 1/2" spacers on both would give an inch taller total and would seem a lot higherWink but still solid and un-noticable...

That was my thought...I'm short and could use some visibility assistance. Thanks!

If you search through the archives, I remember a post where someone did use spacers to angle the seat back further.  I don't remember what they used, but I don't see why John's suggestion wouldn't work.

I have spacers under the front legs to lean the seat back.
installed studs where the bolts are supposed to be and i think 1/2" spacers.

I'm actually going to try the spacers on the back mounts of the buckets to tilt forward a tad. I will post results when I get the interior back together (installing new carpet and sound mat)
