Hello Gran Torino Sport forum,
New member here. Old owner of a 73 351 4 speed.
Joined to ask what is probably a pretty obscure question,

Currently working on a old GM rat rod pickup that has what appears to be a 72-76 Torino 8" rear end in it, and are trying to install a parking brake system. Problem is the brakes themselves are missing some critical pieces, such as the link that fits between the shoes, along with the small oval spring. It appears we can get that strut new so we're probably ok there.

The difficult part we need is the right and left side parking brake levers, the parts that parking brake cables attach onto. Not available new, at least from what I can tell.

Any help or suggestions where I could find these parts? No Torino's that we know of sitting anywhere around here (greater Toronto area), so new is probably our best option. Does this part cross other models? Is it even available anywhere?

Cheers and thanks,
Mark from Canada

Welcome to the forum.  What size brakes does the axle have? There were several varieties over the years.  Someone on here may have the parts you are looking for.
