My 1970 Torino GT Convertible 351C with automatic,I crank it up let it run for a minute and as soon as I push the brake pedal it cuts off just like I turned the switch off and have tried to put in gear yet.

Most likely you have a vacuum leak. You can try the starter fluid trick. Just lightly spray along your vac hoses and carefully around the carburetor while listening for changes in idle speed.
