#45's (Autolite) are 18mm plugs, what cylinder heads are you using(casting # above center exhaust ports)? Autolite #3924's are a good # for the smaller 14mm plugs.
Some 429-460 cylinder head casting number's using 18mm plugs C8SE C8VE C9VE DOVE-C Some 429-460 cylinder head casting numbers using 14mm plugs DOOE-R D2OB-AB& D3AE-FA(POLICE INTERCEPTOR ENGINES) D2VE D3VE-A2A Hope this helps. BTW, check plug threads carefully, somebody may have installed "adapters" to the 18mm heads to allow for more plug choices in the 14mm size. Just a thought. If you do find that the 18mm plugs fit, try an NGK WR5, I have been real happy with these since switching from Autolite 45's.

Yeah, It's a Hybrid...It burns gas and tires. No matter how good she looks, somebody, somewhere, is tired of her sh*t. Beauty is skin deep, ugliness goes clear to the bone. |
