I may be wrong, but I believe he is talking about these little "jewels" on the back of the turn signal housings that allow the housings to attach to the fiberglass front header panel:

How many do you need? I may have one or a few from broken housings that I have kept for "some" reason. CJ, hooked me up with a GREAT set of housings so my older, marginal set(s) may have just become donors.

OK I will see what I have. When I re-did my TS lights, I opened them up and used mirror tape on the inside, resealed them with clear epoxy(all the way around to make them water tight except for a small weep hole on the very bottom). I then taped off the clear plastic and painted the "crossbars" and/or silver trim the same as my Ranchero's body color(did the same on my grille). Here are some pics, they are "just" a bit large, but so is the Ranchero Wink, it does give a better look to what I did:

Bob, you could probably use  a paint pen, like Todd used for the dash trim, available at an art supply store or fabric store  (JoAnn fabrics?). while there're off use a lens polish, or toothpaste to clean up the lenses.

Yeah, totally forgot about the Krylon silver leafing pen(Thank you Ranchero Fan Thumbs Up), works excellent on the dash trim lines, not sure how well it would hold up on the exterior surfaces though.

Bob,
I got 2 of the needed studs for the TS housings, I actually broke one of the housings removing the 2 studs, won't risk another housing. Send me a PM if their still needed/wanted.

I will try the heat idea on the old ones.Removing the broken studs cracked the housing but not that bad I hope.

FWIW the back of the housings are ABS plastic so they could be glued with ABS pipe glue if needed

One of the reasons I opened them up/resealed with epoxy was because I lost the face of one of the TS's, figured once opened I would restore the light housing interior and have better reflectivity with the use of the mirror/chrome tape. The epoxied housings WILL NEVER come apart again unless they are bashed/crashed. Good luck and take your time, you'll ne surprised how quickly they come apart once one side is loose, getting there takes a bit of patience though.

The last set I took apart i had them in boiling water for a few minutes. The hot water worked from the inside and out and they came right apart. Just a razor blade to cut the sealer. Slid right through it like butter, my .02 cents.
