Could he provide a current picture of it? Would be cool to see it today!
I almost bought a 70 Mach 1 yellow with white interior in CA back in 86. Just needed a new C6 tranny which I couldn't afford. Would love to have it now!

What's funny is everyone going on about their business and a smashed car within a stone's throw. Not like today with camera phones clicking away, crowds and media.

Here she is today, badly in need of restoration. Trying to buy it back now! She still has the wheels I put on her 40 years ago!

I love the yellow, shaker and white interior. Back in the day it was so luxurious for a performance Mach 1. M Code 351c with a c6. Spent hours working on and detailing this car!!!!

Holy crap! I just noticed that in the color pic with the close-up of the T-Bird....check out where those propane tanks are mounted on that Ford pickup camper shell. In a head-on wreck those things would become missiles.

My 64 1/2 Mustang from back in 1989. Someone pulled the D code 289 out and shoehorned a 351W without beating the shock towers. It was a real beater but my future wife loved the car too.

At one time someone sectioned a rear from a 66 on it, cutting it in half to do so. It still had the generator using some fabricated bracket to clear the 351W.
