Looking good. I read eariler in the post that you were considering painting the Elite in a brown color vs the original white. Just a thought, but would you consider maybe bringing one of the more modern FORD colors into the equation? I'm not sure what color this is, but it might look very classy, especially the two tone. Just my unsolicited 2 cents... LOL

The color combination above looks good, but I decided to keep the stock color for now.

Last time the car was moved, the rear drums were stuck.  They have been removed since, but the lower arm (driver side rear suspension) has been broken.  Can someone tell me if this lower arm is compatible with the ones on 72-74 Gran Torino?  If someone has one for sale, I would like to buy it. Thanks

Just to mention that the Elite has been moved to my storage next to my goldglow baby.  The car is in good order except for a dried-up vinyl roof top that needs to be replaced.  But for now, I try to focus on the GTS first.

The color? Saddle Bronze. My much loved 76 Elite was that color. It is a very nice color.

Hey, thanks :)  This information is like gold to me.  It is definitely the color I want to go when I'll be at the "paint job" stage.

Btw, if anyone wants to join, here is a Ford Elite group I created....
