When I put new springs in the back of my Montego, I went to our local spring shop (Provincial Spring Shop, 902-455-2328, they're pretty decent) and they custom wound "cargo springs" for me. Same spring as stock, but made with the next thickness up of metal.  I do notice them over speed bumps and larger dips and stuff, but they do ride very nicely apart from that. Total cost installed was something like $400 Canadian.

No issues with getting them to fit or anything else, ride height is perfect.

I can check with them to see if they will wind/ship custom springs if anyone's interested.

Drove the GTB to work on the weekend...it was kind of deserted. A good photo opportunity. Cool

Thanks guys. Yeah after feeling bad about buying a for sale sign I drove it and even though the vw and the van are fun...so is V8 power! Made it even tougher to part with.

At the Car Show today. My Torino and Kathy's (Amy's Sister) 1975 Firebird Formula 400.
The show was a Cruise Event at Wild Horse Pass (Firebird Raceway in Phoenix)

In line waiting our turn. Picture taken from Kathy's Firebird

We got to drive down the track, but not race...Funny 70 mph seems faster than it looks on the strip! lol

Got a little break from the heat today when some clouds rolled in. I took the opportunity to drive over to a set of Townhouses in Tempe that were built by the same Developer that built the ones over in Glendale where I grew up. Best thing is these are only 2 miles from my house the others are like a 50 mile round trip!
Felt like "bazarro world" in that the setting was familiar to me, yet it wasn't.
