Neiko Upper Control Arm Bushing Removal Tool Repair for Ford, GM & Chrysler (OTC-7068)

Has anyone here used this? Just doing a little research....one of the reviews on Amazon stated it worked perfect on a Torino. $126.88 on Amazon...still hesitent to spend that much on a C clamp Wink
But if you feel it's a good deal / product please comment, or if one of the less expensive one's on the market work just as well.

Thanks

are you doing poly bushings? if so you don't need to remove the shells. those can be put in easily with a vise or C clamp. for steel shells i'd recommend a press... you can get one from harbor freight for less than that Wink

ok, leave the shells as they are just heat around them with a torch or even a hand held propane torch will work, they'll smoke some when it sounds like bacon frying push the old rubber out after it cools clean off any residue with sand paper until they are clean metal then grease the poly and push them in all the way Wink

I used the drill method to remove the bushings from the rear sway bar. Took me "just a bit longer" than the video! But it worked...
