Hi All. i found the correct mounts that i need, but it seems that the oil pan is too big. The 460 came out of a '78 camper special. When i lower the engine down, the oil pan sits on the cross member. It sounds like I need a front sump pan. I've seen several of them on Amazon, will any of them work? Also, will i have to change the pump pick up tube, or will it be in the right place and be the right length. How about the dipstick?
Thank you! -Dennis |

I forgot to mention, the car originally had the 351C in it.

You will need the front sump pan and pickup.

Like other's said you need a front sump, the truck pan won't work. You can still get a stock replacement front sump from a parts store. Summit has this once for a pretty cheap price: |
