from power > manual will always work
power glass has a contour on the lower edge of the glass that manual does not need true manual glass will not work with a power motor, many manual cars have power glass in them, and the wiring too. you know glass can be polished / cleaned up ... many products like this ... probably easier & faster than R&R'ing all the windows

Power window glass in my '79 Ranchero has EXACTLY the same dimensions as manual glass in a pair of extra doors I have in storage(77-79 Ranchero and T-bird front door glass is also interchangeable).

Direct swap by 77 the glass was all the same as far as power/non-power.
minor PITA to swap... an afternoon's work. (Less if you keep the beers to a minimum.)
