All,

I am looking for a full set of 1972 Torino wheel lip moldings for a laser Stipe car.

I know how hard these are to find but if anyone has a set they will part with please call or text me 402-201-9674.

If you just have fronts or rears I will buy a set of those as well.

I understand the prices on these so don't be shy!

Thanks,
Michael!

Michael,

I purchased one of my wheel lip moldings from this supplier:

They had another one when I ordered mine.  The one I ordered was great quality, no dents.

I also saw one on eBay you may want to check out.

Thanks,
Chris

Is this the one you need?  Looks like it is still in stock.

Those are the short ones for cars with the lower body trim. The laser stripe cars use a length one and are super rare and hard to find.  If I found a set of laser stripe ones at that price I'd buy them even though I don't need them just to have a backup.

Vince,

Thanks, I read a couple of old threads to catch-up on the differences.

Is this one for the 1972 stripes?  It looks longer - the seller only lists one, though.

Supply and demand economics.  Smile

I see what you meant about being hard to find!

Good luck with your search Michael!

I have a full set of '72 Laser Stripe moldings that I will never use, I sold the Torinos. I bought them about 10 years ago as a spare set. I have 3 restored moldings, RR, LR, RF, that have some minor rot on the inner lip, probably from winter salt. It doesn't affect the outer appearance. I paid $250 each for those. I also have a LF that needs to be restored along with 2 unrestored rears. I have an NOS front molding also but I'm not sure what it fits because I don't have a car to test it on. It's definitely not a '73 because both ends are long like the 72. I will sell as a package deal only so make me an offer if you like.

I also have a grille surround molding with attachment bolts, needs restoration.
