Hello everyone. I’m currently working on getting the pieces restored for a 4 speed swap. I have the factory parts needed to do it and am running into one problem. The z bar for the clutch linkage is a bit worn out. The bushing for the arm that pushes the clutch in is shot, as well as the bushings that the bar pivots on could be replaced. Does anyone have any information on how to take apart the bar to rebuild it and where I could buy new bushings? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks, Jay

Great article here I used when I did mine. I got the z bar rebuild kit from autokrafters.

Before and after. I had a buddy weld up the wobbled out part and then re-drilled the hole. I got the bushing at coastal farm and fleet.

The pivot ball is loose on mine but was also pretty rusted, so the new bushing kit wouldn’t be the best for it without replacing the ball. So I’m going to cut it out and go to a machine shop and have a new one made. Do you know what size hole you drilled and what size bushing you used?
