Ok, so there are two things holding me back and the the car is 100% complete!  My dash lights work except for the instrument cluster, how do i disassemble it to change bulbs.  Two, my left blinker in front will not light, although my rear left blinker flashes.....also the front left bulb lights when i turn on my driving lights.  I bet someone has a wiring diagram the can take a look at and at least point me in the direction of where to go....Im stumped, Thanks for your help!

Alot of times, the bumb sockets get corroded over the years and they don't work. I've run into this issue as I have been working on both the '72 and '73 GTS recently.

As far as bulb replacement, you do not need to take the cluster apart, unless you plan on either sticking LED lights in, or want to remove the bulb light diffuser caps to brighten up the cluster a bit.

I am debating, but I would wonder if you don't have a grounding issue. Hard to say off hand.
I don't know if I have the 1974 electrical manual, but I have 72-73, and 75-76, of a couple different cars.
They are huge fold out diagrams, but I know on ebay, there are laminated color diagrams from at least one source...don't know how much though.

What happens when you go through the gears, is there any hesitation? Sometimes when a car sits for a long time the brakes seize up and won't release properly.

No it runs & shifts fine, its just slow @ accelerating.
Anything I can to to "encourage" a faster 0-60 time without breaking the bank?

Rear Gears, that's what I've always heard. You probably have 2.75's.

Summit Racing, Jegs, Dearborn Classics, Lots of places have them, just dont go to high (Numerically) I'd go with a 3.50/3.55 around there, but its up to you.

Graham, the car looks awesome! You did an outstanding job getting her back together. Those wheels also compliment the car very nicely...I'm sure you're enjoying her already! Good luck getting the kinks out. Clap

Car looks good, all you need now is a funky 70's hair doo. Did you find out what was making your car feel sluggish?

ya those rear end gears are set at a really low ratio so I am going to replace those, but with the new tires it seems to preform a little better

My first rear gear change was from the factory 3.00 to a 3.70 limited slip and it really made my GTS wake up off the line. Another thing you can do is change your 1st & 2nd gear in your transmission to help multiply your torque.
