Can anyone help me out on what clutch linkage parts to use.
I have 460 and a Lakewood scatter shield and big input toploader.
The engine side linkage pivot doesn't line up correctly.
Any help would be appreciated

Is there a hydraulic slave cylinder "upgrade" available? Does away with the mechanical linkage issues. If this is not a route that can be taken, welding or fabbing up a different mount may be in your future. Good luck.

Yeah, It's a Hybrid...It burns gas and tires.

factory big block mounts for the 72-76 cars? length of trans the same as to where it mounts and where bell housin seam would be? I would think even though they never offered a factory big block 4 spd in these cars, it should all line up with factory engine mounts. I may do this as well, so very interested what you find out. I'll probably use my original small block trans though and just take a little off the front shaft to work with a big block (3/8" i think) as they are strong enough behind a stock or mild big block. They used small shaft top loaders behind 390's

They never produced a big block 4spd. Those who have converted to a BB 4spd say If you use a factory
bellhousing, you can modify the SB bracket to fit.

Tighten it down until it snaps and then back it off a half turn!

Thanks for the replies. I'm looking into the hydraulic set up. I'll let you know that I find out.
