Does anyone know the width of the 69 Torino 9" rear end housing? Looking for axle mounting flange to flange. The car I am putting back together came with a redone 9" rear end. Looks to be the wrong one. It is a small flange rear end and measures around 55" flange to flange. I read 59.25" is the correct width but cannot seem to find additional info to back that up.

your term axle mounting flange can be read both ways. do you mean the flange at the end of the housing, or the round face of the axle with the 5 wheel studs?
if im not mistaken , The overall bare housing without the axles installed should measure appx 54 1/4 , and if the axles were installed it should be 59 1/4 axle face to axle face
