Has anyone used the door panels sold by Dearborn & AutoKrafters? Were they marked with a manufacturers name? I contacted both asking if they would provide me the manufacturers name so I could inquire about getting the panels made with the burlwood band rather than the twin chrome bars but they wouldn't give me the info.

Any leads greatly appreciated!

Hey Joe,
I will send George G an email. I believe he has some insight about them.

Would any other members be interested in 74-76 interior door and rear trim panels WITHOUT THE TWIN CHROME MYLAR BANDS?

I was talking with Chad at Class Tech Cars about seeing if any of the vendors making the 72-76 standard trim panels could develop a new a set of panels for the Gran Torinos with the burled walnut trim. As we were talking, he was telling me how the application of the mylar strips is (I think he said) the final step of the process... and THE LIGHTS CAME ON.

I asked him to see if they could pull a set before the banding step and sell them to me like that. I'll look into having a stainless steel band machined with the recessed area for the burled walnut applique sized for the door panels and rear trim panel.

Anyone else interested, PLEASE CHIME IN.....
