Picked up a 78 Ranchero cheap Tuesday night. No rust NV truck. Motor has seen better days, but body is immaculate with the exception of two spots where it appears clear coat is pealing off. I will post some pix when I get a chance.

sigh, had it on lift this afternoon just making sure it was safe to drive... even had a camera. Forgot to take pix. Back Monday to run compression test. It seems maybe the engine has more life in it than I originally thought. No rust underneath it either. Heater core leaking. I have yet to see one that doesn't/hasn't leaked. My 72 the whole damn heat/ac box rusted away.
First part. Anyone have a working spare wiper switch for sale? 78 With intermittent wipers. |
