If you find the tag on the axle, we can help decode it. There should be a metal tag with a code on it that is attached to one of the bolts holding the differential in.

You have 2.45 gears? I thought the tallest gears were 2.50...

I have a complete rear end from a '73 Montego GT with 3.00:1 gears available.
I could sell the thing whole or just the center section. Heavy item will cost in shipping though. I could deliver to the Columbus swap meet in April or maybe Carlisle in June. I see you are in Michigan. I'm near Niagara Falls Ontario if that helps in any way.

No it's an open.
I have no use for it other than just spare parts to me. My car has 3.25 and I may go up to 3.5 but we'll see how it runs first. I'm a long way off having it done.
