Alternator light flashes |

The battery is fully charged. Wires are tight. The car runs fine. Any idea why it is doing this? |

Everything good with the voltage regulator?

1972 Gran Torino station wagon, light blue, 351C 2V, prior owner upgraded to 4V (2V heads), originally had a C4 but prior owner changed to C6 for some reason.

Measure the voltage across the battery posts and see what the alternator is putting out when the car is running. It might be that it's borderline weak (or the voltage regulator is going bad) which is causing the light to flash.
