Not a major tool but when I was removing my axle retainer plate nuts in my hub I found one of them had been rounded off and couldn't get into it with any other tools. I picked this Power Torque 5 piece bolt extractor set up at Oreilly Auto and was extremely happy with how fast and easily it took care of the problem. This set was around $30. Probably not something I will be using frequently but if needed they will definitely save a lot of time.

Nice. Harbor Freight in their Icon line, came out with a couple new sets of extractors which have been rated very well.
Extractors are sort of like a 10K winch. May not use it often, but when things go sideways, always handy to have!
