Update: Thanks to Mike (McFord) I now have the correct kick down rod installed and working like a charm!
Had to tweak the bends slightly to get proper clearance around the throttle cable mount on the intake, but once I got past this its the absolute correct rod.
Kicks down just as it should on the test drive.
