Since I bought my '68 Torino two years ago, it's had the incorrect steering wheel horn ring cover installed.  It's from a '69 Torino.  I bought the correct cover off eBay recently.  In the ad photos, it showed the correct emblem.

When the cover arrived, I found the emblem is not correct for a Torino.  I've looked online for various horn pad emblems but no luck identifying the car this emblem belonged to.

If I can get the photos attached, one is of the correct Torino emblem and the other (on the reconditioned pad) is the "unknown" emblem.

Anyone know what this is?  I'm sure it will be obvious once identified.....worthy of a smack in the head.

Thanks for the link.  I have learned this emblem was used on Mercury’s in 1968.  A friend thought this so I did some looking.  Sure enough, I found three photos of Mercury models, Monterey, Colony Park and Montego, that show this emblem.

My brother owned a ‘68 Montego convertible 40+ years ago.  I’ll see if he remembers it.

Interesting that the Torino in the link above shows the Mercury emblem….
