Ok boys and girls my GTS is in the shop getting the last of the body work and getting painted. I know a few of you are from NY so does anyone know an inexpensive place I could get my stuff rechromed? It is going to be a driver so I don't need anything special just want them to shine like the new paint? I don't mind shipping them either if it would save me some money. Ill wait for your comments and thanks.

Plan on spending $$$. I paid $600 for my front bumper, plus $100 each for the bumper guards and $300 for both tail light housings to have them rechromed. None of them were damaged, bent or dented. I got the rear bumper from the "Bumper-Boyz" at a show in Daytona(local to me), chrome was OK but it now needs re-chroming due to thin chrome layer(copper starting to show). It was $250 15 or so years ago(Ranchero sat in warehouse from '91 till '13). Get the best chrome work you can afford or you may regret it in the end(having to do it over), good work isn't cheap and cheap work isn't good. Good luck in your search. Todd

Thanks.... I was planning on spending around $1500 but I have more if needed. The only reason I asked is because I know that some places charge much more for the same quality work as others.

I understand fully, hope I didn't come across as a @$$. Just shop around when/if possible and try to keep the "chromer" as close to you as feasibly possible so you can deliver and pick-up the parts, it will give you a chance to see the finished product in person so if there is an issue both you and the chromer can resolve the issue immediately rather than find a problem after the parts are delivered to your house and the chromer is 500 miles away. Good luck. Todd

In the southeast, but chrome is excellent.  They usually have cores which make it a bit easier.
