Are 1972 ford dashes interchangeable? I like the look of the 72 mustang dash.

If you are asking if a '72 mustang dash will fit into a '72 torino, the answer is no, it is not a direct replacement part. The '72 torino is four and a half to five inches wider from the drivers side across to the passenger side than the '72 mustang.

And then you will have to widen the mustang dash four and a half to 5 inches across from drivers side to passenger side to make it fit correctly. And then you will have to make all of the heater, defrost, ventilation and air conditioning parts fit, such as the duct work, vacuum diaphragm's, and controls. And the connectors for some of the wiring might be different.

And then you will have to try to fit the torino accessories, gages and warning lights into the mustang dash. It will be a big project, and while some custom car shops and home mechanics have done this type of work before, it might not be worth it to some other people to spend weeks or months of time on a project like this one.

Ok I appreciate it. I liked the look of the mustang dash bezel and the center piece that comes down to the floor over the tunnel. Looked like it would fit a touch screen radio.
