I have just bought a '68 Torino GT HT with a 289, 2 bbl with single exhaust.  Anyone have suggestions on improvements to power with this engine such as adding dual exhaust, 4 bbl etc.?   Any printed sources of info?

I have a 69 FB, 351 was 2bbl and single. I  put 2 1/2's" through super turbos emptied before the axle. GOD it sounded good. Without headers too. I added a performer intake and a 4bbl edelbrock. While they were at the same time it all gave me 2-3 mpg better. A ton of mid to upper rpm power. Revved up alot quicker to 400-500 more rpm's. I would start with the exhaust. Mufflers were about 35$ each from summit. Good luck! -David.
