I have the top Loader transmission out of my newly acquired 1969 390 4 speed. The linkage was a mess when I brought the car home. Bill Heeley made it new. When I was cleaning the transmission, I noticed a rubber gasket between the linage and the transmission. There are so many bad rigs on this car that I don't know if it was some added or if it belonged. Does anybody know if it was supposed to be there?
