Does anyone have a picture or diagram of the driver side outside air duct. The cable on mine is frozen and I would like to pull it down and get it working. I would like to know where all of the mounting screws are so that I am spending minimum time under the dash. Not easy being old!

I have a 73 but I believe it's the same as the 72. I have two pics that will hopefully assist you.
![]() The vent cable handle is mounted to the underside of the dash with I believe 2 screws. ![]() Second photo shows the cable as it runs just to the side and above the fuse box where it attaches to a metal bracket with not sure if one or two bolts. The cable end then attaches to the vent lever but I can't quite remember what secures it. Hope this helps.

There is an NOS cable on Ebay with a pic that shows the end of the cable.
![]() I believe the cable end just slides onto the vent lever and a cap slides onto the end of the vent lever.

Let me know if you want me to try and dig up the factory diagrams or not.

The square end that hold the handle was bent. A little hammer work and some WD40 and it work fine. Thank you again.
