72-73 Q code cars came with which one, the top loader or t-10, i beileve its the borg warner t-10, but im not sure.

I've never heard of anything but a toploader in a Q code. This is what mine has also.

     Ford toploader was the only fourspeed for the Torinos. Ford stopped using Borg Warner 4-speeds in 1965, for the sake of durability Warners were junk compared to the Toploader!!

so i guess my 4 speed, thats 73' correct is a top loader.  I always though they came behind big blocks for durability reasons.
