Hi guys, I just found a 78 Ranchero GT that I'll b taking off the dash and the sway bars. It currently has a 400 and I wanted to know if there's other things that are worth taking off. Also does the ac compressor fit a 351c. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, It's a Hybrid...It burns gas and tires.

Turn Signal housings where gone. I took off the front and rear sway bars and the dash assembly the gauge housing was too sun rotted however the gauges n the lenses were good if anyone thinks of anything else worth saving let me know. Thanks.

Some things that are getting harder to find, no after market replacement parts...Wiper switch(regular and interval), a/c controls, steering column if tilt, sport mirrors, lower fender plastic splash shields.
Ranchero specific parts=inner and outer door opening trim, rear window and trim, rear plastic trim behind door opening, tailgate, bed trim, tail lights, rear bumper, door glass. Good luck. Todd
