i'm in the middle of one. take the top pad off. look for screws at he front edge and on the sides towards the doors. drop the shifter into 1st gear and take off the black cluster bezel after removing about 8 more easy screws. then you will see how the cluster comes out. be careful the white plastic is fragile.

The easiest way to take it out is remove your top dash pad and the front cover which are held by screws. You can reach in from up top to disconnect the Molex Plug and unclip the speedo cable.
You'll need this Molex Plug with the Sport Gauge Cluster, make sure it all comes as a package when you buy your Sport Gauges.

OK, stupid question, isn't the red wire with yellow hash marks a resistance wire?
I know in the main harness going up to the dash, there is a wire coming off the firewall block that must not be cut.
I spent way to many hours piecing back my harness so it was good. Then I had to go and do something stupid like add extra power circuts and move wiring around.
DOH

THe red and yellow wire should just be the power wire for the cluster, 12v+ with ign and start. I'll try to take a pic of my FSM when I get home from work.
