1970 GT ENGINE ?????

    I HAVE A VERY ORIGINAL '70 TORINO GT W/ 351C. STILL HAD THE FACTORY INSPECTION TAGS ON THE MOTOR WHEN I GOT IT. I'VE RESTORED THE CAR BUT CANNOT FIND THE CORRECT VALLEY PAN FOR THE INTAKE. THE PORTS IN MY HEADS ARE TOO BIG FOR THE STANDARD 351C VALLEY PAN AND I (STUPIDLY) THREW OUT THE OLD ONE. THESE ARE 4BBL. HEADS AS FAR AS I KNOW. O.K. FORD GURUS, WHAT IS THIS THING ?

	the original valley pan/intake manifold gasket is no longer available. take your 2v intake gasket and cut out the valley pan using just the center section,dont cut the ends that contact the engine block at each end. this will help to support it,use silicone seal at the ends on each side of the valley pan. then use replacement intake gaskets for the 4v heads. they are available from mr gasket. i have used this method and it works fine,no leaks,and it keeps the hot oil from slashing on the bottom side of your intake manifold.
