Recently got back into a 73 GTS after waiting 30+ years. Had a 72 & 73 back in the late 80’s. Anyway bought this one from a guy in Connecticut. Has a worked 460 with C6. Supposedly an Arizona car and judging by the lack of rust it seems to be true. Car is solid but needs work.
Currently working on the brake proportioning valve. Needed to be rebuilt and sent out to White Post. Wiring is a mess and needs to be sorted out. Interior needs work. Otherwise very happy and glad to be back in a GTS.
Can’t figure out how to post pics. Help!

Congrats on the new Torino.  Definitely start a project thread.  Here is a post with the how to instructions for posting pics, including a video.

For on a PC (may be similar on mobile)
  1. Click the Post Reply button (don't use the Quick Reply box)
  2. Click to put your cursor in the text area.
  3. On the tool bar click the picture of a tree.
  4. In the resulting dialog, use the "Choose File" button to select your picture.
  5. Click the "Upload" button.
  6. Change any settings you like when the preview appears.
  7. Click Ok.
Good luck!

Nice Torino, it looks like a mean street machine. Are those original seats that have just been recovered?  They look good in the car.

I believe they are original and recovered. Rear seat has been recovered also but doesn’t look as good. Prior owner ruined the center console by drilling and adding toggle switches. One is a kill and one is for the vacuum pump for brake booster. Haven’t figured out what the other two are for. Also mounted a trans guage in the center console that I will remove. He also mounted two quick release straps in front of console thats screwed to the floor. Really getto looking.
Gonna remove the three gauge pod under the dash as it makes it hard to get into car without hitting my leg. Also needs a new dash bezel, dashcover and headliner.

That's a really nice example for a '73 GTS.
